Biography

Braz Chediak (Três Corações, June 1, 1942) is a Brazilian actor, screenwriter and filmmaker.

With Aurélio Teixeira, he was responsible for the argument and the script of the film "Mineirinho, Vivo ou Morto" (1967) and the adaptation of "Meu Pé de Laranja Lima" (1970). He's also involved in the script for all the films that he directed. Many of his feature films are adaptations of Brazilian stage plays, mainly from playwrights Nelson Rodrigues and Plínio Marcos, such as "A Navalha na Carne" (1969), "Dois Perdidos Numa Noite Suja" (1970), "Bonitinha Mas Ordinária" (1980), among others.
